  • Climate Change Documentaries on BTV 14

Ms. Aflague’s 8th grade science classes were back in the studio these past few weeks tackling the major issue of “Climate Change.” 100 students contributed as Communication Managers, Climate Scientists, Environmental Scientists and Conservation Scientists looking at how plants, animals, people, land mass and air quality are all affected by greenhouse emissions and global temperature rise.
These students did a tremendous job investigating these heavy issues and understanding that these are real life problems that their generation will be faced with.
You can catch these documentaries on BTV 14 beginning on Friday, February 9th at 5:30pm.
BTV really enjoyed working with these students and look forward to sharing their discoveries with you.
  • Bourne Veterans Memorial Community Building Progress

    Up Close

BTV Up Close brings you to ground zero at the community center following the recent pipe burst and water damage event. Krisanne Caron, Bourne Recreation Director, takes us through the building allowing us to capture the extent of damage throughout, floor to ceiling. We follow up with Town Administrator, Tom Guerino, to explain how the fire suppression system, because it is a “wet” system failed in the prolonged arctic chill and the financial implications for the town. Still uncertain is the timeline for complete building repair. BTV Up Close will be checking back periodically to bring you the latest.
